  • Jama Masjid Overview

    Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1650. It is the land mark of Old Delhi. It is built by red sandstone and marble. It has two high minarets of nearly 40 meters height, and a huge courtyard which can accommodate 25000 devotees at a time.

    Timing: 7:00 am to 6:30 pm (no visitors allowed during namaj), 

    Nearest Metro Station: Jama Masjid, Delhi.
