  • Khaba Fort Overview

Khaba Fort is a tourist destination where hardly some tourists like to visit, it is a deserted palace with no tourist crowd at all, ancient ruins all around and peaceful surroundings for miles and miles. Khaba Fort is a small fort on the outskirts of the city towards Thar Desert. The fort has been abandoned along with the village of Kuldhara that spreads on the foot of the fort. The fort is completely in ruined state, most of the roof has been fallen. There is a small exhibit on one side of the courtyard which contains different kinds of rocks found in the surrounding desert area, some statues and carvings in the fort. Neither the statues nor the carvings are in their proper shape, they are also in ruined state. A series of steps at the adjacent side of the fort leads to the ruins of village Kuldhara.
