  • Sita ki Rasoi Overview

Sita ki Rasoi is a temple of Devi Annapurna in the form of a kitchen used by Devi Sita to cook food for her family members. It is situated in the north-west of Ram Janmbhoomi in the form of an ancient kitchen used by goddess Sita herself showcasing old stone vessels and cooking instruments like rolling pins, plates and tubs. The temple kitchen is built in the traditional Hindu style, with a spacious ground floor having a central raised platform. Inside the kitchen there are the idols of Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna, Sita, Urmila, Mandavi and Shrutikirti. Next to the kitchen there is a place called Janaki Kund, the bath place for Devi Sita and her sisters
